Site-wide record backbone

Proof Ledger

Included at no added cost, Proof Ledger quietly turns useful actions into producer-controlled records.

It keeps source labels, correction history, document hashes, and module/report links. Records stay private unless you choose to include them in a Proof Packet or shared report.

Keep the proof as the year happens. Adding records late is still useful. GrainIQ will mark them by document date and upload date so the proof trail stays honest.
Private by default. Saving a record does not share it. Records are only included in a Proof Packet or shared report when you choose to add them. Uploading or logging a record does not automatically send it to a buyer, verifier, government program, or anyone else.
Proof Ledger Overview

Proof Ledger is the record backbone behind GrainIQ. Plan level controls storage depth, tagging, module reuse, Proof Packet tools, and report support.

Quiet Capture

Every useful action can create a record. Every correction becomes a new event instead of replacing the old one.

Proof Packet Status

Ready for internal review. Farmer approval here means approved for export by the farmer, not by any outside authority.

Source / Status Summary

Where records came from, how strongly they are supported, and whether farmer review is complete.

Record Strength
Farmer Review
Proof Inbox

Unclassified documents and future partner-submitted records can land here first. The farmer decides what gets accepted into the active ledger.

Partner submissions are farmer-directed only. Accepting a record does not send it to a buyer, lender, agency, certifier, or any outside authority.
Ledger Event View

Default view shows active, meaningful records only. Legacy Module 3 auto-runs stay archived unless you explicitly include them.

Legacy Module 3 auto-runs were archived from the default Proof Ledger view to reduce clutter. Future routine Module 3 runs save to Module 3 history only unless the user intentionally saves a snapshot.

Seasonal Checklist

Use the crop stage to keep the work small and timely.

Records stay private unless you choose to include them in a Proof Packet or shared report.
Missing Records

Keep this list short over the year instead of rebuilding the paper trail at delivery time.

Documentation Needed Checklist

Generated from the crop file, practice claims, grain lots, delivery records, and Proof Packet goals.

Recent Document Records

Document date and date added are both tracked for audit honesty.

Proof Packet Preview

Lender Packet is active first. Master Archive and other packet lenses are prepared without overbuilding them.

Preview only. This packet has not been shared. Generating or reviewing a packet does not grant access to a buyer, lender, verifier, partner, or public verification page.
Downloading a packet creates a farmer copy. It does not grant online access to anyone else.
Sharing grants access to the selected recipient or link only after the farmer chooses to do so. Access should remain revocable where supported.
Reports Using Proof Ledger

Module reports can cite the records and assumptions they used without silently overwriting user-entered values.

Why Keep This Ledger?

Built for 45Z readiness, climate-smart documentation, Proof Packets, and useful farm recordkeeping. Proof Ledger helps organize support for reports, packets, and reviews without claiming every record is verified. A stronger record trail makes later reports more useful.
